Even if you're getting an entry level or older ball, you're easily getting your money's worth.

Was looking for an upgrade/change and was not disappointed!

Received an Ebonite Fireball Purple/Gold. Ball does as well as I expected. Was hesitant on the color, but the purple looks good with the gold and in lower light conditions fades from purple to black.

Plan to do again in the future, maybe after I get use to throwing a heavier ball, as I went up 2 lbs.

I've purchased several mystery boxes over the last year or two, and wanted to give my thoughts on the value it provides. First and foremost, not every ball you get is going to be a brand new release. I've gotten everything from new releases, to year old balls still in production, to balls on close out, to overseas balls... but every ball has been at least a mid level or higher ball. It truly is a mix of possibilities.

I've gotten a mix of brands, but the mix tends to lean heavily towards the Brands of Brunswick, followed by a mattering of Storm brands, and no Motiv (they may send some out, but I've never gotten one). So keep that in mind when ordering.

Every ball I've gotten is worth at least the purchase price, and many I've gotten are worth far more. $99 is an outstanding deal. I also recently signed up of the subscription ball, and $75 per ball is an even better deal.

I'd absolutely recommend a Mystery Box to anyone. Can't beat the price, for what is always a quality ball.

I have now added a few balls. Including the Knockout Bruiser, Hammer Black Pearl 78D Urethane. Most recently received Max Bias and Intense Mindset. In terms of value. What's there not to like? Awesome!

I do want to say for people who are considering doing this. If you're only planning to do it once. Don't just expect to hit the lottery. You might. But don't set yourself up to be disappointed, if you don't.

You might get a older ball even. Still the value is there. If you end up ordering more than one ball over time. I bet you will see the true value you're getting. This deal overall is damn good.

I will say.. if you're looking for a certain type of ball aka Core/Cover. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra $10 and add info on the type of bowler you are, your arsenal, and what you might be looking to add to your arsenal. There's no promises.. as it's a mystery and what they have available. But I have added my details and the results have been good. They listen and do the best on what they have to send out.

So please.. don't do the simple mystery ball without details and expect them to read your mind. The extra $10 is worth it if you're wanting/expecting to fill a certain spot in your arsenal.

Last thing I want to say. If you're someone who likes new balls every few months. Give the new subscription option a try. Just know with the subscription you're agreeing to buying 4 balls over a year. You get charged $75 every 3 months when they ship the ball. $75x4=$300 for 4 mystery balls. Great value!

Anyway, I apologize for this long review. However I can promise you.. this is an honest review from someone who bowls league weekly and enjoys getting new balls every so often.

This ball not only looks great, but is great. The best Vibe to ever come out. Controlable and clean. Nice ball for the transition and can be used as the first ball out of your back on higher friction shots. I took the polish off mine and sanded it to 2000 and it makes it a smoother reacting more continious ball.

So much can be said about thisball. Strong, clean, hitting power. Can be used on the fresh. Currently the first ball out of my bag. I'm speed dominant and can play this ball up the track and it just keeps hitting.

I got the ball based off of the envy tour and when I seen there was a pearl version I was all over it and lo and behold this ball led me to my first 300! I highly recommend and talk to your pro shop about best layouts for you and your game

Basic shoe cover. Protects your shoe for when you really gotta grab some beer or nachos. Basic, no statements or frills. Just remember that the logo end is the back end and it will fit perfect!

Super durable. The rollers help with cleaning and scuffing the ball. Super durable. Fits in my bag easily. Oh, and super durable.

I got this ball when I first started bowling and it was a bit too much for me to handle.

Once I improved my form, this ball read the lane really well! Mid-strength with a decent flare potential, it does very good on house shots.

I have plenty of miss room with this ball. My favorite hybrid ball. This ball holds.well.wgen u miss inside and comes back when I miss outside.

Not the strongest hybrid ball in the world but so versatile.

The price point makes you think this is a beginner ball but it offers more than that! I'd put this a step above balls like the tropical surge. Stronger than you I thought but not overly strong. I am able to throw this for a long time during league play.

Theres a reason this ball has been in production forever.
It reads the lane so well and is my favorite ball. I'm rev dominant one handed bowler so I can use this game one of league
